Yup, there was a deer in our yard. Not all that uncommon, really, as we live on a wooded park; nonetheless, it was the first deer we've seen in the four years that we've lived here. It made those of us who were awake smile.

Yesterday morning, as I was trying to get a load of laundry in the washing machine before everyone woke up, I hear Aidan calling me loudly from the living room. What was inspiring him to shout through the house while most of the kids slept?
