How did that happen? I almost forgot that NASA is landing a rover on Mars TONIGHT! NASA is landing the Curiosity rover on the surface of Mars at 1:31 AM EDT in what they describe as "Seven minutes of terror."
They are trying a totally new approach to landing the rover which involves a giant parachute and going from 13,000 mph to a stop in seven minutes. This will be interesting!
The rover is tweeting as MarsCuriosity, so you can follow the excitement on Twitter.
