Drought

As the rainy days continue here in MN, I can't help but think about the lack of rain in Ethiopia right now.  They are suffering from a severe drought over there.  I encourage you to read more about it here.  

When we adopt, we graft branches onto our family tree.  Those branches connect to other trees in other places.  We now have been grafted onto a family tree in Ethiopia, so it is our family that is suffering right now without enough water and subsequently, not enough food.  We thank God that He has spared Zoe and Marcus that suffering, but there are many others, some of them family, that are still there.  Please pray with me that God would send rain to Ethiopia.  It truly is a life and death situation they are dealing with.

    All 5 of us prayed last night for Ethiopia and for Zoe and Marcus' extended family there. We will continue until we hear that things are better, so keep us posted, okay?
