Zoe turned five three weeks ago, but today we finally got around to throwing her birthday party. Life was a little chaotic at the beginning of September with her big sisters in Pennsylvania and then her brothers in the Boundary Waters.
My kids only get kid parties when they turn five, ten and 15, so they are a big deal to the kids. Zoe opted for a tea party with a few friends.
Here are the beautiful princesses awaiting their lunch.
Lunch was followed by a rousing game of pin the handle on the teacup.

And here is the helpful lesson I learned while preparing for the party. Plastic tiaras cost between $5 and $10 at Party City, but you can get them for $1 a piece at Target. So, if you're in the market for plastic tiaras - Target is the place!
