Yet Another Reason

I just keep finding reasons why I LOVE my neighborhood.

Here's another - blackberries (and an occasional raspberry. The park behind our house has blackberries growing along the path and this year there is a bumper crop. Yesterday, the kids picked several cups worth of berries and Nina made a DELICIOUS berry crisp out of them. Mmmmm! It was so yummy. I think we will make another one later this week as it seems like this is peak blackberry season.
