Last year at this time we were going through eight gallons of milk a week. We are now drinking 12 gallons of milk a week! How did this happen? Who knows. This hasn't broken the budget though because in that time I have discovered that Cub brand milk, Sam's Club milk and Quik Trip milk are ALL hormone-free. So, despite the increase in milk consumption I am actually paying less for milk each week than I was a year ago. I guess that's good news!

  3. WOW!!Believe it or not, we might go through only one to two a week at the very most. We are not big milk drinkers over here. I use it in cooking but not as a beverage. We so rarely have cold cereal, usually hot cereal which the kids do not add milk to.I alway think a good mom would give her kids milk to drink. I should give them milk to drink. But now I could not imagine the expense. Jeff would need a third job just to buy milk.

  4. Yeah, we're BIG milk drinkers! Chris and I both drink it for lunch and dinner and Evan almost drinks nothing else. He probably drinks almost a half gallon a day all by himself. At least he won't ever get osteoporosis :) (Do guys even get that??) It runs in my family, so Molly and I both need ot make sure we're getting our calcium...
