Stay tuned next week for Marcus receiving his bag...

It's In The Bag
Well, nothing's in the bag yet, but Raelea got a book bag today in Sunday School. It was her reward for memorizing five verses from the Bible. She was VERY excited to finally get her bag (after an excruciating wait of about six weeks - hey, that's a long time for a four year old). We're very proud of her. It's a pretty huge accomplishment for a little girl who couldn't even say a complete sentence a year ago.

Yay Raelea!!!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot think of the right words to say how amazing it has been to watch Raelea grow in her journey to learn how to speak. She is a marvelous child and has a wonderful and patient family.
ReplyDeleteLove You all. Mom
Way to go Raelea! Love the purple shoes!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, I forgot to comment on the purple shoes. Raelea decided several months ago that she wanted purple shoes for her birthday. Here is the conversation -
ReplyDeleteRaelea - Mom, can I have purple shoes for my birthday.
Mom - We'll see
Raelea - I want purple shoes for my birthday. Can you keep that in your mind?
Well, needless to say, I kept it in my mind as she reminded me almost every day that she wanted purple shoes and that I needed to keep that in my mind. Thank goodness we found purple shoes (and 50% off at that)! She wears them everywhere and with anything :)
