It's A Date

We finally have a date for our adoption finalization hearing!! It's Dec. 11. We could have done this much sooner if I had gotten my act together and finished all the paperwork, but once we had the kids home I lost all motivation to do paperwork. Go figure! Anyway, soon we will be DONE with all adoption stuff! Yippee!

    Barb,
    At least you were able to do this paperwork yourself!! I just got a bill from my lawyer for $800 to do this paperwork! (we have to have a lawyer in our county, bummer. I ended up filling some of it out myself anyway......)

    Congratulations, guys! That will be a fun day. I'm expecting ours will be Dec or possibly Jan.

    $800 - Ouch! I'm glad we don't have to hire an att'y here in MN. We're going the cheapo way and representing ourselves. Cheaper, yes, but obviously slower since no one paed me to fill out the forms!
