Quote of the Day

"God never meant man to be a purely spiritual creature. That is why He uses material things like bread and wine to put the new life into us. We may think this rather crude and unspiritual. God does not: He invented eating. He likes matter. He invented it."
~ C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Dinner

We're having Wild Rice Soup for dinner.  Affectionately known around here as Slugs & Grubs.

Just thought you'd want to know :)  You'll never eat it again without thinking of this!

  1. We have Worms 'n' Germs too. Gee, I hate the food names around here.

    Cheers etc. etc.

  5. Kim,
I will do that, but remind me when I get back next week. It's really, really tasty (although not very good for you - too much cream, etc.).

  6. Tina,
Yes, our little secret is out - Chris and Evan are way funnier than I am! They just don't like the 'pressure' of having to keep their blog updated. I hope they do post here while I'm gone because then I'll have something to read when I get back!
