So far, we've only had two people waiting in line to use the bathroom and not a single "accident". Not too bad, if you ask me.

It was a good week.

Just in case you were wondering. I'm typing this while laying in bed with a warm (hot) corn bag on my feet and another one laying next...
Now Barb,
ReplyDeleteIf you really wanted to me mindful of the state of the earth you would upcycle your pretty blue toilet to say a planter in your back yard...
Who cares if you would be known as the 'weird, crazy, rollerblading, jackhammering, homeschooling family with eight kids, bag pipes, a big dog who chases things around, AND a blue toilet in their back yard' neighbors.
That would not matter because you all could sleep well knowing you are doing your part in preserving the earth for future generations. Their grandchildren will thank you!
Oh, Tina, it is SO sad, but the blue toilet did not make it out of the bathroom intact :( Do you believe that Chris broke that treasure when he was removing it? Bummer.
ReplyDeleteAs for the neighbors, aside from the blue toilet planter, that is about how they view us. We keep the neighborhood interesting...
That is too bad about the toilet. It does look like the tub is still in one piece...
ReplyDeleteI am teasing you. I am very impressed that Chris knows how to do stuff like this.
We had a window in our shower when we lived in St Louis Park. I actually liked it but the wood was in bad shape. I think we had a peach toilet and bathtub in that house.
Have a fun week.
Ah, the tub is staying, but it's not staying that color. We are having it refinished in a lovely shade of tan.
ReplyDeleteAfter living with blue bathrooms (yes, our other bathroom is the same lovely shade of blue - complete with marbled blue counter top and blue toilet) for five years, I'm going for more neutral colors.
It looks like I'm deep in prayer over this one--which is probably what I need right now! It can only start looking better from here! :-)
