Re-Relay

Our Relay for Life event was cancelled shortly after it started (July11) due to inclement weather.  Because the event was called off before it got dark we never got to light the luminaria (candles dedicated to cancer survivors or victims).  So, last night, we had a much shorter event after sunset to light the lunimaria and take a few laps around the track.  It was a very touching time to see the names of all the people who have been touched by cancer.


Since two people have asked me (after looking at the next picture), "Did they not go all the way around the track?"  I will clarify.  Yes, the bags did go all the way around the track, I just took a picture of a portion of them :)  The bags from our team went about half way around the track.  The other however many teams got the rest of the track.
