As always, Saturday brought about grocery shopping and chores. Despite all the work that needed to get done we had some fun, too. Evan had his book club today (first Saturday of every month). Although they had a light turn-out this month, they had a lively discussion nonetheless. After discussing the book (Through the Looking Glass), we put the young lads to work shoveling some rock and removing a stump because a strong mind and a strong body should go together :) Actually, it was because we needed the work done and they looked quite able-bodied!We rewarded the young men with apple pie made this morning by Molly. While the big boys worked, Marcus tried out various modes of transportation.
All the while, Zoe just kind of puttsed around (how do you spell puttsed anyway??? I think there should be a z in there somewhere)And as the day came to a close, look who wants to be like his big brother...
