His solo competition is at 10:15 (if you're interested in showing up) and the band competition is sometime after noon. I'll let you know how he does. He is hoping to be awarded a "Playing Above Grade Level" award, which would automatically raise him to Level 4.

Last First
Tomorrow is Evan's last first as far as bagpiping goes (okay there may be more firsts, but this is the last one for awhile - I think - well actually that's not true either, as he is performing solo at a Minneapolis Police Open House next Tuesday). He has his first competition tomorrow - both solo and with the band. He and the band will be competing at the Minnesota Scottish Fair & Highland Games.
