  2. Oh dear, you can only imagine what I thought when your blog popped up....after experiencing 7 cases of the stomach bug over the last couple weeks...
"Did she really take a picture of THAT???"

Lol. We're just dealing with 2 sinus infections, 2 ear infections and one case of conjunctivitis now -- yes, that's 5 of us on anitbiotics....but at least I'm not cleaning up stuff that looks like your volcano!!

  3. Well, Tina, I think that the Zoo Homeschooling blog would be quite dull actually, as our schooling usually isn't too exciting :( I'm on too much of a time crunch most days to have too much fun. I will certainly pass along any fun things we do though.

As you probably noticed, the volume level of our home videos is quite loud. If we do more videos we'll have to tone it down a little - maybe lock a few kids in a closet for a bit (I'm just kidding folks).

  4. Eww, Jean, yes that would be quite gross! I'm sorry to hear that several of you are under the weather. No fun at all! We are amazingly healthy over here so far this winter, although Marcus had a dr. appt this week so he will probably come down with something from that visit :)

  5. The volume level was quite quite in my opinion!

Elena asked what your volcano was made out of...clay maybe?

  6. Maybe the volume on my computer is set too high :)

It's a salt clay recipe. If you want the recipe I can get it for you tomorrow (I'm off to bed now the heat is turning off). It's really easy to make, it just takes quite some time to dry - like days. We've used it for other things too like making models of Mercury, or was that Venus...
