Not the real one yet (we get that on Chris' birthday - Dec. 15), but this....
It's a countdown "calendar" to Christmas. Behind each tree is a piece of paper with an idea on it of something fun to do that day like "Go sledding" or "Bake cookies." There are also ideas that involve serving others like "Bring a meal to a friend" or "Shovel someone's driveway."
I would love to take credit for this great idea, but it isn't mine. I got it from another blog called IntentionalByGrace . I thought it was a great idea, so we went out and made our own. It was super easy (we bought pre-cut foam Christmas trees) and took Chris and me about 20 minutes to do.
Can't wait to begin the countdown tomorrow!
