Okay folks, because it's MY blog, I can post this request for our beloved bagpipe band...

Supporting MPPB has never been easier than it will be on Tuesday, November 17.

From 8 am on Tuesday, November 17 to 8 am on Wednesday, November 18, all donations made to Minnesota Police Pipe Band using GiveMN.org will be matched by a generous gift from the Minnesota Community Foundation. In addition, the organization with the most donors receives an extra $5,000!

There are no administrative fees – 100% of your donation goes straight to MPPB.

All donations are tax deductible.

Contributions may be made via credit card only.

The minimum contribution is $10 -- there is no maximum.

Our participation at the World Pipe Band Championships in August 2010 is our top priority. Please use the link below to read more about the trip and make your donation. Click here to support the band with your donation.

The band will be at Summit Brewing on Saturday, December 19th. We'll perform at 2:00 p.m. after the brewery tour. The tour is free but you do need a reservation. Please contact Summit to save a spot.
