Dear Spring,

I am sorry to hear that you are leaving so soon.  It seems as though you have only arrived and I have so enjoyed your visit.  I sincerely wish you would stay until my dear friend Summer arrives.  You see, I am afraid that Winter is returning in your absence and he is known to overstay his welcome.

Please, dear friend, consider staying just a little longer!  If you must go, please return again quickly, as you and I have a lot to do together.
