"Anyone can have one kid. But going from one kid to two is like going from owning a dog to running a zoo." - P. J. O'Rourke
Howdy Suburban Cowboy and Cowgirl!(Love the new picture!)How are all your young cowpokes?! I had to actually look up the word cowpoke and here is what I got: A cowpoke is a hired ranch hand who is responsible for managing cattle. (From http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-cowpoke.htm)The Zoo definition:a cowpoke is a young Johnson who is responsible for the various chores required to...help...I can not think of anything clever,Barb. Actually. The cowpoke definition fits your and Chris's job description better.Cowpokes even own dogs to assist in cattle hearding. Interesting. Is Snickers a cattle hearding type of dog?
Our other picture stopped working, so I had to find a new one. This one seemed to work :)Snickers herding cattle? Ah, no, I don't think so. She won't even chase a bunny out of the garden. In her old age she mostly just lays around and sleeps :)
I like the picture of the cowboy and cowgirl also! Aimee K.
Thanks for visiting. We would love to hear from you!
